Celebrating Romani literature: Reading at the Long Night of Books

On May 17, the Foundation Kai Dikhas will participate in the Lange Buchnacht in der Oranienstraße (Long Book Night in Oranienstraße), a celebrated literary festival that brings together bookstores, galleries, and cultural institutions for an evening of readings and discussions. As part of this event, we will host a special reading session from 7 PM to 9 PM, featuring poetry and excerpts from books written by Romani artists and writers. This session aims to highlight the richness of Romani literature and give voice to narratives that are often overlooked in mainstream discourse.
